How It Works

Using the new multilingual transcription feature is simple and intuitive:


1. Select Your Language Before Recording:

On the transcription page, you'll find a new language dropdown located just below the 'Start Recording' button. Simply select the language being spoken in your meeting—whether it's your own or that of your participants.

2. Start Recording:

Once you hit 'Start Recording,' Nutshell will work its magic, transcribing your meeting in real time in the selected language.


Change Languages on the Fly:

If your team speaks multiple languages in different meetings, don't worry—you can adjust the language setting before each meeting begins to match the needs of the conversation.

Set a Default Language for Transcriptions

To make the process even smoother, we've also added a default language setting for transcriptions. Here's how you can set it up:

1. Navigate to the Settings page.


2. Click on the Transcription tab.


3. Choose your preferred language from the dropdown menu.

Once set, all your meetings will be transcribed in this default language—unless you choose a different language before starting a specific meeting.
